Right at the Alpkogel mountain station, the view opens up to the Ballunspitze. Angular, striking and majestic, it rises to 2,671 metres above Galtür and is rightly considered one of the region’s two local peaks. The viewing point at the mountain station is accessible all year round and offers not only a breathtaking panorama, but also plenty of opportunities to explore the surrounding area on foot.
