At 1,809 metres above sea level, the Kopssee impresses with its turquoise-blue waters, surrounded by a picturesque mountain backdrop. First fully dammed in 1967, today the reservoir is considered one of the region’s greatest technical achievements – with a catchment area of 170 square kilometres and a usable volume of nearly 43 million cubic metres.
