Saint Cristòfol d'Anyós
LA MASSANA
Inside the parish of la Massana, we find the Romanesque church Sant Cirstòfol d’Anyos, at 1.310m of altitude, with some impressive views of the valley Calira del Nord.
It was built in the 12th century, and until the 1930s, the interior was decorated with Romanesque mural paintings by the master from Santa Coloma that were torn off and sold to a collector in the United States of America.
This temple is one of the smallest in Andorra, with rectangular nave measuring only 5m x 4m.
