Bridge of St. Antoni de la Grella

Bridge of St. Antoni de la Grella

LA MASSANA
This bridge of Romanesque origin, which passes over the Valira river, is very close to the chapel of Sant Antoni de la Grella. This follows the path that connected the parish of Andorra la Vella and La Massana when there was no other means of communication. At the moment it is a pleasant walk near the river, it is very easy to access for everyone.
The bridge is a simple construction of approximately 21 meters long and 5,5 meters high, with a single arch.
Its name dedicated to Sant Antoni Abat, patron of the men who lowered the merchandise down the river, these men where called "traginers".

Countless ways to enjoy your mountain vacation!

Maybe you've never heard of the Tamarros before, maybe you have. Whether you've heard of them or not, now you have the chance to discover them and give them a helping hand.

There is one very important thing you need to know about the Tamarros, which is that they protect the nature and the forests of Andorra.
